After living in London, one of the largest megapolises in the world, for I don’t remember how old I am much time, it seemed that I’ve tried pretty much everything. Sometimes it was a pleasant experience, sometimes just “meh”..

I must confess I felt into a lot of traps, and stumbled across so many problems, that I stopped keeping track. What is even worse, I am sure more will not hesitate to follow.

But there was always one thing that helped me out – my sense of humour. Whatever happened with me I looked at it through a prism of laughter. So, I thought – why not to share my experience with you, and turn my misfortunes into something positive. As some people put it “Turn a lemon into a lemonade.”

We cannot help making mistakes, but we can always share our experience with each other and be cautios of ones in future. Let’s try doing it together.

What if you’re in line shopping and the person immediately in front of you is rude to the sales clerk for no good reason? Do you say anything to the person being mean to the clerk? Or do you just let it ride?

    • Hi Paul,

Good point! It really depends on the context. All of us want to play angels, and claim we would defend the poor salesman, but when the moment comes we find ourselves at a loss. I cannot recall exactly the same situation. However, something similar recently happened to me. I was taking the bus, and there was a crazy junkie trying to get away with the stolen travel card that clearly belonged to a retired person. The driver wouldn’t let him in, and he was shouting in anger, bombarding him with all kinds of racistic remarks. It was really sad to see, but I doubt that it would be a good idea to start arguing with him in defence fo the driver. Agression can only provoke more agression. Nevertheless, when the junkie left the bus, I chatted a little bit with the driver, trying to calm him down, and make him feel better.

      What about you?
