A glimpse into contemporary art in Glasgow

We already discussed the ambiguous essence of the modern art in one of my recent posts about Saatchi Gallery. However, while thinking about it I also recalled a really funny exhibition, that I had the chance to see in February 2011 in the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Glasgow. I know it’s a little bit late to talk about it, but I thought that many people could find it rather amusing. Besides, here you’ve got a unique chance to see something that will probably never appear on the white walls of the museums. I hardly doubt that anybody could buy these “paintings”.

Although, I wouldn’t call it art, I think these drawings are brilliant. This is a parody on the contemporary life, such as politics and social issues, which makes many of the our lifestyle aspects look ridiculous. I present my humble collection to your precious attention, and hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
